Live Music Mondays: Toucan Musical Artist-in-Residence

This February, Entwine launches it’s Musical Artist-in-Residence program. Every Monday live music rocks the downstairs Sub-twine space beginning at 9pm. February’s Musical Artist-in Residence is Toucan.

Kraig Jarret Johnson (member of the Jayhawks, Iffy and the iconic punk band Run Westy Run) & Greg Wieczorek (Twilight Singers, Wilco members’ Autumn Defense, upcoming Norah Jones tour) formed Toucan while on tour with Golden Smog, Kraig’s band he started with Gary Louris, Dan Murphy and Jeff Tweedy, and Greg joined as their drummer. Kraig & Greg teamed to create a number of original songs and take on a wide range of covers from the likes of Nick Cave, Keith Richards, Tom Petty, Neil Young and Peter Tosh.

Catch Toucan at 9pm on Mondays in February, and expect guest artists such as Joseph Arthur, Angela McCluskey, Steve Wynn, and a few other friends to come down and sing along.
